- If the applicant withdraws the program, after Mandala placement is confirmed, the cancellation fee is $US 5
- If the applicant withdraws the program by the commencing date, full program fee is applied and only refund 40% of the paid fee.

INTERNSHIP CONTENT
The intern will work mainly on the Mandala hotel and assist the hotel
manager with the following tasks
Housekeeping
Training in housekeeping methods and procedures
Cleanliness standard, room set up and bedding
Allocate work duties to Team Members
Work with supervisor to perform routine inspections of all
check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied rooms
Report and follow up on any maintenance defects or other
issues
Manage, efficiently, stock control and the maintenance of
equipment
Front Office
Introduction to front desk and meet & greet procedures and
complaint handling
Perform check in/out, hotel operator and meet & greet
Familiarization on night audit
Shadow team on daily operations
Support on guest services and advice on transportation, business
services or entertainment, or monitor guest requests for
housekeeping and maintenance
Food and Beverage
Practice F&B service sequence and basic techniques
Job rotation to experience all positions within F&B team
Shadow F&B Manager on daily operations
Check Function forecast to arrange member logically
Build a equipment, materials plan for FB department weekly
Ensure the manager is informed of special events, house counts and
noteworthy situations
Spa
Provide personalized supports to regular guests to ensure they are
well taken care of
Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and report to the Spa
Manager
Assist for the day to day spa operation duties to include opening
and closing, cash handling procedures and general facility
maintenance
Learn to build a plan for entertainment activities, menu and
promotion campaign
Operation Management
Learn to provide timely and thoughtful guidance, coaching,
leadership and expert support to all departments
Ensure consistent compliance with hotel policies and outstanding,
intuitive guest service while maximizing departmental profits
Proactively and thoughtfully anticipate and prevent negative guest
experiences through training; communication; planning and
organizing
Oversee all projects within the property; work closely with the
Head Office; suppliers and the community to enhance the guest
experience and workplace environment

Step 2: ConsulationA small talk would help us get to know your needs better and identify if you are suitable for the Mandala’s internship. Our coordinator also will advise you to get to know more about our program and clarify the placement match your needs with hotels in Mandala Hospitality Group (Mui Ne, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Kim Boi, Hai Duong)

Step 3: Program offerCongratulations! You will know where to intern and what to prepare more before getting on the plane. We also will then be working on an agreement to formally accept you into our program.A deposit of 40% of total program fee is required in order to secure your placement. The remaining 60% of the program fee will be paid upon check-in at our hotel

Step 4: Program startWe will work alongside you to arrange the necessary logistics for you to enter and stay in Vietnam. That usually includes a pre-departure orientation and online meetings in which you will be provided with specific information on visa application, flight booking, insurance, accommodation, local buddies, what to bring and what not to bring to Vietnam, etc

Step 5: Program executionWe will work closely with each other during the program to ensure you have the best experiences and also to support and find solutions for unexpected problems (if any).
